Tues, 9/26- Blood in the Water

Alright alright alright! We've set the foundation the past 6 weeks building up some conditioning, developing some mental toughness, and working on rowing technique- now let's see what you can do with it!

Today we're going to be doing a classic test- the 2k Row (and 1k Row for Masters). So far our 'cardio' tests have all been of the short distance variety (500m Row, .25 Run), this is our first time tackling a middle distance, which has a totally different feel to it. Like anything else, it's as hard as you want to make it. If you want to really push it towards a specific goal (and we'll talk more about what that could be), it will challenge you, and it will chew you up a bit. If you want to dip your toes in the water and go for a 2k pleasure cruise, that's OK too (for now).

Over the next 3 weeks we will be pushing this time and seeing what you can achieve. It will be hard, but it will be rewarding. I haven't watched the new Dune yet, but remember, fear is the mindkiller. Come in and attack it!
