Thurs, 12/30- 1st Annual HH Pump + Run

Great heavy singles in bench today guys! Now that you have an idea of where your top weights in benches stand, let's talk a little bit more about what's planned for New Year's Day-

Saturday, 1/1 will be our first annual Pump + Run! Post-Covid we'd like to make it a bit of a bigger event, but as things stand right now we'll be running our regular class sizes and Saturday class times (8:30am, 9:45am).

The workout:

Hungry Hearts Pump and Run-

Max Reps Bench Press

2.55 Mile Run

On the max reps bench press, every rep you get will reduce your overall run time. We'll have a range of lighter and heavier weight options to choose from for both men and women, as pictured below:

Men- 185# (30s off/rep)

140# (20s off/rep)

95# (10s off/rep)

Women- 95# (30s off/rep)

65# (20s off/rep)

35# (10s off/rep)

Max of 30 reps

Yes, you're reading that correctly, if you benched enough reps and ran fast enough, you could get a negative time.

For the run- we have a 2.55 mile outdoor run course. We're expecting weather- but most of you are full-time New Hampshirites. Non-flannel wearers and snowbirds can run indoors on the treadmills. We'll have at the very least some mimosas to help you warm up afterwards.

Start 2022 off right. There will be medals for first place men + women's finishers!

Big benches!

Yours in Food + Fitness,

Jamie
